DETERMINANTS FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT: AN EMPIRICAL STUDY ON FISH FARMERS IN CACHAR DISTRICT
Abstracts
This study investigates the inclination of the people towards entrepreneurship through fish farming in Cachar district of Assam. In specific it aims to examine the relationship between entrepreneurship characteristics and inclination towards entrepreneurship. Along with this the influence of demographic characteristics and family support on the peoples' inclination to entrepreneurship is also examined. An empirical test carried out on the data gathered from questionnaires demonstrates that passionate about goals is found to have statistically significant relationship on the inclination towards entrepreneurship. At the meantime, two demographic variables have an effect on peoples' inclination towards entrepreneurship. Finally, based on the findings, the implications of the study have been forwarded.
