ANALYSIS OF INDIA’S TRADE RELATION WITH AFRICA | Journal of Economics and Trade

To evaluate India's trade potential with various African nations, the article uses a simple and enhanced gravity model. The research makes use of panel data from 2010 to 2017. The model's results are then utilised to forecast prospective commerce between India and African countries. The findings show that India's trade potential in these nations is enormous. However, a number of significant impediments contribute to the low level of commerce between India and Africa, including limited market access, trade facilitation concerns, and asymmetric information. India should make an effort to maximise economic potential and improve commerce between India and African countries.
