Testing is a crucial activity that may help students recognise their talents and knowledge while also planning their future education. The influence of chaos theory on EFL students' English scores is the study's main focus. According to chaos theory, if the original condition is changed, the result may also be altered. As a result, the purpose of this study was to see if altering the item order of a pre-designed English test may result in different results. 64 secondary school pupils were chosen at random for this purpose. They began by taking the pre-designed test. Later, the exam's item order was tampered with, and the students took the tampered-with test. The statistical comparison of the two groups was completed after 12 days.
