COMPARATIVE ASSESSMENT OF COCONUT OILS PROCESSED FROM DRY AND WET EXTRACTION TECHNIQUETECHNICAL ....

Cucurbits are one of the most profitable vegetable crops on the planet, with a great number of annual varieties being grown. Plant diseases pose a threat to our efforts to increase crop yields. Various cucurbits are infected by over 200 identified diseases. Fungi, bacteria, and other pathogens attack various areas of cucurbitaceous plants, causing diseases that slow down their growth. Fungal infections, particularly powdery mildew, are well-known as key limiting factors for plant growth and crop productivity (Podosphaera xanthii and Erysiphe cichoracearum). These two species could be considered the principal "risky" diseases due to their great evolutionary potential. Disease spreads to pandemic proportions every year, resulting in a decrease in food yield and quality. Cucurbit powdery mildew: symptoms and signs, epidemiology, disease cycle, ecology, and disease management are all covered in this technical text.
