DETERMINATION OF DISSOCIATION CONSTANT OF SOME CYANOPYRIDINES DERIVATIVES IN N,N-DIMETHYL FOR.....

Using an ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer, the dissociation constants of various new cyanopyridine derivatives were measured. These compounds were synthesised, and IR, 1H NMR, and mass spectrum data were used to confirm their structures. The dissociation constants were determined in a combination of N,N-dimethyl formamide and water. Different substitutions in compounds have been shown to alter dissociation.
