Working capital management that is efficient generates greater free cash flows, resulting in a better firm valuation. The purpose of this study is to examine the working capital management efficiency of companies in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods business in India, using a sample of all companies in the CNX FMCG index of the National Stock Exchange of India from 2003-04 to 2014-15. Working capital management efficiency is measured using performance, utilisation, and efficiency indexes. The Indian Fast Moving Consumer Goods market did exceptionally well during the research period, according to empirical findings.
