The methods by which a country pays its health-care delivery system may indicate how valuable the product and its users are. The purpose of this article is to determine whether or not healthcare finance in Nigeria is effective. Different questionnaires were prepared and delivered to patients and health practitioners of a public hospital in Ogun State to meet the study's goal. The total number of surveys sent was 50 (25 for patients and 25 for health professionals), and all of the questionnaires were returned. To prove the efficiency of healthcare finance alternatives on health services in Nigeria, a multiple regression analysis was used. According to the data, tax-based healthcare financing is effective in the United States. In Nigeria, you may buy health services. Furthermore, the findings revealed that out-of-pocket healthcare expenditure had a substantial impact on Nigerian health services. While out-of-pocket spending may be essential for acquiring health services, the government should increase the use of tax-based healthcare finance to enable the provision of long-term healthcare services in Nigeria.
