FARM PRODUCTION RESOURCE MOBILIZATION AND ALLOCATION EFFICIENCY AMONG ARABLE CROP FARMERS IN EZZA...

The majority of farmers (73.3 percent) obtained land via leasing or purchasing it, and capital was obtained from personal savings (78.3 percent ). The ratios of marginal value product (MVP) to marginal factor cost (MFC) reveal that the arable crop farmers did not allocate inputs efficiently. At the 1% level, the effects of farm resource mobilisation and utilisation on arable crop productivity indicate a positive significant association with some variables. Farm resource mobilisation and allocation efficiency among arable crops producers were also hampered by a lack of money, a lack of land, a bad road network, and other factors. As a result, the study determined that the amount of farm production resources mobilised was insignificant, and farmers were unaware of how to use them properly. As a result, the government and other agricultural stakeholders should host frequent workshops/seminars to educate arable crop producers on how to use resources effectively and efficiently to maximise yield.
