Climate change is posing a significant danger to long-term economic growth, notably in Sub-Saharan Africa. Because of their reliance on rain-fed agriculture, limited financial and adaptive ability, high reliance on natural resources, low technology, and weak infrastructures, small-scale farmers in the region suffer the most. Climatic change adaptation and mitigation need an awareness of the rising trend of climate variability and its influence on rural livelihoods. The influence of climatic variability on rural livelihood on the Nigerian Mambilla plateau is investigated in this study. For 30 years (1981–2010), climatic data such as mean monthly and yearly temperatures, rainfall totals, and rain days per year were collected. The weather data was used.
