Context and Objectives: A single herbal medicinal plant may have thousands of phytoconstituents or secondary metabolites, which opens up the possibility of new drug production and discovery. Procedure for the experiment: Qualitative methods were used to conduct the preliminary phytochemical screening. Conclusion and Findings: The aim of this analysis is to determine the existence of various phytochemicals, such as alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, polyphenols, and other compounds, in various extracts of the medicinal plant Chrysopogon zizanioides (L).
