PERFORMANCE OF MAIZE HYBRID VARIETIES UNDER VIETNAM CONDITION | Journal of Global Agriculture and E
The purpose of this study was to compare the performance of maize varieties to a control K 9901 variety. Days until 50% pollen shedding, days until 50% silking, plant height, and grain yield were all tracked. In comparison to the control treatment, the NL13-4 had the most pollen shedding days (80.0) and the NL13-12 had the lowest pollen shedding days (70.0). Furthermore, as compared to the control treatment, the NL13-4 had the highest number of days to silking (82.0), while the NL13-12 had the lowest number of days to silking (72.0). In terms of plant height, NL13-13 had the maximum plant height of 174.7 cm, while NL13-5 had the lowest plant height of 143.2 cm when compared to control.
