PREPARATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF NUCLEOSIDE ANALOGUES AND STUDYING THEIR INHIBITION EFFECT ON ...

There are two parts to this article. The first section discusses how to make novel Mannich compounds of the nucleoside cytidine. The interaction of cytidine with secondary amines (morpholine, pyrazine, pyridine, and pyrrolidine) in the presence of formaldehyde is required to create these derivatives. Nucleoside analogues (1, 2, 3, and 4) are so produced. The synthesised compounds are next characterised and validated utilising techniques such as 13C.N.M.R, 1H.N.M.R, and FT-IR. The second section, on the other hand, looked at how these substances affected glutamate oxaloacetate transaminase (GOT) in normal human serum samples. This is done by measuring enzyme activity under the same conditions (with and without the chemicals described above) as inhibitors. In addition, the inhibition ratio was computed, and the inhibitors with the highest rate of inhibition were identified, as well as the inhibition type. The results of the investigation show that these chemicals have a strong inhibitory effect on GOT enzyme activity in human serum.
