To evaluate if the pharmaceuticals meet the needed requirements, a quantitative study of several brands of Diclofenac tablets was performed (using HPLC and a UV spectrophotometric method). The results of the various medications' analyses were compared to those of the standard. The absorbance and peak areas of the samples and the standard were used to compute the percentage content for each sample to see if they were within the specified limit as mentioned in the official books. According to B. P 2008, diclofenac has a range of 95.0 percent to 105 percent. UV results suggest that 5 samples of the drug passed and 5 samples failed, but just 1 sample passed HPLC.
