REPRESENTATIONS OF GROUNDWATER PHYSIOCHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS NEAR THE SUBURB AREA OF ASAN RIVER....
Water dissolves minerals in the geological system because it is a good solvent. The physicochemical composition of groundwater is influenced by a number of causes, including chemical weathering of rocks. People living in urban cities are more prone to suffer from various health concerns due to pollution in groundwater. The goal of this study was to look at the various groundwater characteristics in five Asan River suburbs (Chandrabani, Badowala, NayagoanMallan, Parval Village, and Herbertpur) in Dehradun to see if they were appropriate for drinking. For this study, eight water quality variables/parameters were chosen (pH, TDS, Alkalinity, Total Hardness, Calcium Hardness, Magnesium Hardness, Chloride, and Nitrate). During a six-week period, twenty samples of groundwater were collected from the five sampling locations using 1 litre sterile polyethylene bottles.
