STUDIES ON THE MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF RICINOLEIC ACID LINEAR LOW-DENSITY POLYETHYLENE (LLDPE) ....

The goal of this investigation was to see if waste Egg shell powder (ESP) could be used as a reinforcing and biodegradable agent in linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) composites using Ricinoleic acid (1 percent). The mechanical properties of the resultant composites were assessed using ASTM protocols for tensile and Izod notched impact. The composites' tensile strength improves as the ESP content rises.
