SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERISATION OF POLYMERIC NANO - FORMULATIONS OF CARBENDAZIM | Journal of........

Agriculture, which is the backbone of the global economy, is currently experiencing serious issues as a result of the widespread use of commercial pesticides. The quick decomposition and minimal use of conventional insecticides has resulted in significant contamination. Nano insecticides can penetrate deeper into the plant and control a variety of illnesses. The innovative nanocarbendazim insecticide for plant disease management was described in this research. Our research presents a unique Nano-carbendazim for plant disease control, as well as the characterization of the encapsulated complex made with polyethylene glycol and polypropylene glycol as encapsulating agents. Dynamic light scattering (DLS), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) were used to evaluate nanoencapsulated particles (TEM). For both capping agents, the particle size distribution looked to be around 80–95 nms. When compared to commercial carbendazim, Nano carbendazim's bio-assay yields better findings.
