SYNTHESIS OF NANO-POLYIMIDE FOR MICROELECTRONIC APPLICATIONS | Journal of Applied Chemical Science
Poly (amic acid) (PAA) of poly (pyromellitic dianhydride-co-4,4'-oxydianiline) was used to make nanocrystalline aromatic polyimide films by imidization methods (PM). X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscope (SEM), thermogravimetry / differential thermal analysis (TG/DTA), and UV-2300 spectrophotometer were used to investigate the crystal structure, particle size, chemical structure, morphology, thermal stability, weight loss, and optical properties, respectively. The results demonstrated the production of totally crystalline polyimide with new thermal stability, energy band gap, optical and electrical conductivity, and dielectric value characteristics. The obtained results indicated that the produced polyimide was suitable for microelectronic applications.
