THE EFFECTS OF WRITING APPREHENSION AMONG JORDANIAN PHD STUDENTS' PERSPECTIVES | Journal of Global
The goal of this study was to learn about Jordanian PhD students' writing anxieties at Universiti Utara Malaysia. The method used in this study was a qualitative case study. Purposive sampling was used to identify information-rich instances from the pool of participants. Homogeneous sampling was used to determine the characteristics of the sub-group of the entire population. Interviews with Jordanian PhD students were used to gather data. Twenty-one students were questioned to gain their thoughts on the phenomena of writing apprehension. The consequences of writing apprehension were examined as the major goal. Three key themes were discovered in terms of the impacts of writing apprehension: personal effect, societal effect, and academic effect. According to the findings, writing anxiety is a common occurrence.
