At 298 K and 2 MHz, the ultrasonic velocity, density, and viscosity of a binary system of acrylonitrile in 1, 4-Dioxane were measured. Various acoustical parameters, such as adiabatic compressibility (a), intermolecular free length (Lf), free volume (Vf), excess values of adiabatic compressibility (aE), excess values of free length (LfE), and excess values of free volume (Vf), have been calculated using experimental data of ultrasonic sound velocity, density, and viscosity (VfE). Weak intermolecular interactions are proven in this system based on these acoustical properties. Dipole inducement is shown to be more prevalent in the system. All of these factors' nonlinear behaviour sheds further light on the numerous interactions between molecules.
